Brandi's Childcare

Hello families, my name is Brandi Smith, I m a licensed in-home childcare provider in McLean Va. with over 16 years of experience. My program is a small setting with a 1 to 6 ratio. I believe some children thrive in small setting and am happy toprovide this for my families. I enjoy helping children learn in small groups and being able to provide one-on-one learning with the children in my care. My program includes structured weekly themed lesson plans geared towards helping each individual child learn at the level appropriate for them. We work daily on writing, number and letter recognition, music through learning, large motor activities, site words recognition and much more. I also include special activities several times a week such as baking projects, science experiments, nature walks, complimenting the theme for the week. I supply nutritious meals for the children for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. I am sponsored through the USDA So all meals are following the nutritional and portion size guidelines required by the USDA.
