Our training is based on positive reinforcement making the training process fun for everyone involved!
Puppy Preschool:
This course is designed for younger puppies to start building a foundation of basic obedience commands and leash manners while also giving owners the tools and techniques to redirect negative puppy behaviors into desired behaviors that we can positively reinforce. This puppy class will incorporate socialization for your puppy to various different people, other puppies, toys, cars, and various training materials such as leads, feeders, fence and avoidance systems. This course is also designed to help the owners ask questions they may have about food, stages/phases of their puppies development, common puppy problems, breed characteristics, potty training, and anything else the owners may want to know about how to work with their new puppy!
Adolescent Puppy Training:
This course will be geared more toward solidifying the foundation of basic obedience commands to condition obedience into your pet's behavior, basic commands, leash manners, socialization to novice environments and experiences, proper handling and restraint. In each class session we consult as a group on various different topics to aid in better understanding our dogs behavior, health, wellness, and gain a better understanding of how to strengthen the bond with your dog.
Intermediate Obedience:
This training class will be offered for those that are at a higher training level designed to elaborate on the basic foundation of obedience commands and behaviors to get conditioned consistent obedient behavior; reliable recall, consistent focused responses to basic commands while overcoming distractions. We will also firm up proper leash manners that we can use to transition into off leash control. Like all other training courses there is always time for consulting on any information owners to allow them to better understand their dog's behavior and strengthen the bond between a dog and its owner.
Private Training:
Private sessions will be offered as well for owners and their pets if they would prefer more one on one time in their own home with them and the pup. My private in home sessions will are specifically designed for each owner and pup's training needs and goals. We will work together to get conquer any specific behavior problems through positive training methods just as we would in a group setting just in your own home instead!
