I have two children, ages 3 years and 10 months, and am looking to open our home to care for one or two more children. My husband is a small business owner in Charlotte, and I have been blessed to stay home with my two girls so far. I would like to be able to contribute financially and believe my gifts and best talents involve caring for children. Our family is active in church, and our Christian beliefs are an important part of our home life. I also cook most of our meals at home from scratch, and can provide lunch and snacks. I feed my family mostly organic and whole foods. My own children are not on very strict schedules, and we tend to parent a little more "natural minded", but if you prefer, I can easily accommodate for your wishes in these areas for your own children. I take my girls out of the home a few times a week for errands or play dates or just fun outings. I enjoy getting them outside at least once a day to play. We watch minimal television, but do enjoy a movie as a treat here and there. I am working on the alphabet and numbers with my oldest, and can easily involve a child who is also ready to begin or work on education. I can be flexible with hours that are within the timeframe of 7am-6pm every day and am open to a part-time or full-time situation.
