About the business
At Boulevard Bark, our professional pet sitters and Licensed Veterinary Technician provide the highest-quality in-home pet sitting money can buy, as well as specialized nursing for ill, geriatric and injured pets. We are a family-owned and operated business. We started out as animal lovers and grew into pet-care professionals, dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care to cats, dogs, birds and other pets in the comfort of their own homes.
We offer pet-sitting packages tailored to clients' needs and schedules. We go above and beyond to provide play, enrichment, and love to each animal. We offer additional courtesies, including bringing in mail, rotating curtains or outdoor lights, or watering plants.
Clients with special-needs pets can add medical treatments (in conjunction with a veterinarian's directions) to a pet-sitting visit. Nursing services include post-operative care, wound care, subcutaneous or intramuscular medication administration, glucose checks/glucose curves and insulin treatments for diabetic pets. We offer physical therapy and work to educate our clients on how to best care for their ill, injured, or senior pets from the comfort of home.
As members of organizations such as Pet Sitters International, we have access to continuing education in pet care, and are dedicated to constantly expanding our expertise, creating a new standard for excellence in the home pet-care industry. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured. Our staff veterinary technician has over six years' experience caring for ill and injured pets in both routine and emergency situations. We have completed certificate courses in animal care, health, safety and sanitation, and we continue to expand our expertise each day. Any sitter sent into the home is trained in pet first aid, and competent in caring for animals of varying breeds and ages, recognizing their individual needs. We're also life-long pet owners and animal lovers, further fueling our dedication to, and passion for, this profession.
Our mission is to protect every animal's right to comfort, love, compassion, safety, exercise, enrichment, and medical care, and provide their owners with peace of mind while they're away.
