Boomarang Day Care

The main purpose of Boo'ma'rang Childcare is to provide a superior child care program: safe, happy educationally-stimulating and service oriented setting for ALL CHILDREN.

In an inclusive childcare setting: Children of all physical, emotional, and academic abilities are cared for in the same environment. We use Bright from the Start Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) program. GELDS standards is continuum of skills, behaviors, and concepts that children develops throughout this time of life. Our program is divided into age groups. Its a set of appropriate, attainable standards for learning and are designed to be flexible enough to support children individual rates of development approaches to learning and cultural context.

Characteristics of our childcare:
Children can participate in daily routines and activities with creative adaptations. Children are given the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace. Children are recognized as individuals with specific strengths and needs. Children have a strong-sense of connectedness and belonging.

Inclusion means all participate and all belong. Inclusion is about learning to live with one another including those with special needs and limitations. Day care setting is the earliest place to start the exclusionary process, a process that will continue into higher grades and into the community at large.
