About the business
I offer one-on-one 50-minute tutoring sessions using the Barton Reading & Spelling System for students who are developing skills in reading, spelling, fluency and vocabulary. Sessions can take place either in person at my home in Lynden, Washington or online using Zoom and Whizzimo.
My clients struggle with reading and spelling
They may or may not have a diagnosis of dyslexia
They range in age from 5 to senior adult
They range in severity of dyslexia from mild to profound
They may also have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
In order to make progress, sessions need to be at least twice a week, but three sessions will be more cost effective because:
I provide a discount for 3 or more sessions per week
It will require less review
We complete the program faster
