Hello!
My name is Cassie Drendel and I will be opening a licensed in-home daycare called Blue Mountain Scholars in Monument starting in August! My home is less than one mile from I-25 which would be easy access to anyone in Colorado Springs, Monument, Castle Rock, or Denver! I am currently a teacher within Academy School District 20. I have my undergraduate in Elementary Education and my masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am licensed to provide care for six children ranging from infants to kindergarten. I love teaching and will be incorporating preschool lessons into our daily routine with very limited screen time. My goal is to have our preschool children ready for kindergarten! I will provide a healthy and balanced breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
Per licensing requirements, I have taken, passed, and am current in the following courses:
CPR & First Aid Certification
Administration of Medication

Child Care and Preschool Immunizations
Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

I do have three open spots available (ages 2-5 years) and would love to speak to interested families! I have a one-year-old daughter who will be joining us in our fun and adventures!
