Blessed Heart Daycare

For the past year, I have been offering my childcare services in my home. It has been very important to me, and have been lucky enough to be able to stay home and raise my two boys, who are now young adults and (almost) on their own! That philosophy of being with the children is what prompted me to want to help out other moms and families. I am also an artist with a creative mind. I love to play games and do puzzles and color with the children. I have done many various child care jobs in the past 20 years; including just recently spending a year and a half with a little girl starting at the age of 3 months, and before that, for four years, I was a nanny/mother's helper for a family that had four children under the age of 10. (also with several other part-time families in St Charles and Geneva). I have also volunteered in my church's nursery and Sunday school classes periodically. I wrote a newsletter for our mom's group at church regarding child and teen development and issues moms face while raising kids. I have also worked part-time with eight + children under the age of 4 years old with another day care provider. (I have been background checked and fingerprinted by DCFS) My resume and references are available upon request.
