Bill Reagan Children's Center

The Arc of Southeast Iowa has been providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for more than 60 years. Over the last 10 years we have placed a greater focus on providing group based activities for school aged children through weekend groups, after school program and 3 summer day camp programs. This February we received a child care license from DHS and have opened the Bill Reagan Children's Center Daycare program.
While remaining true to our organizations mission to provide high quality support services and care to individuals with disabilities, the daycare will be an inclusive program open to those with and without disabilities. The center offers 3 separate classrooms, a sensory room, and fully accessible on-site playground with sensory and vegetable gardens. The program follows the principles of Creative Curriculum. Working to establish routines and daily experiences that nurture each child's curiosity while allowing them to feel secure. Grade school may be a few years away, but we believe in helping each child to reach their full potential in social-emotional, language, physical and cognitive skills sets. We take a great deal of pride in our proved track record of providing exceptional, personalized care to all of the individuals we serve and are excited to offer this same standard to the children and families enrolled in our daycare.
Currently accepting applications for the infant room for children aged 0-24 months. Part-time and full-time slots available. Sliding scale tuition rates may apply to those that qualify.
