Bilingual Home Prschool

Hello,
I am opening my home as a Reggio-inspired, bilingual home preschool designed to provide the optimal platform for a transition into your child's school career. My goal is to help you in preparing your child become a successful, self-directed learner with respect for others, accepting responsibility for his/her own choices and independence. The activities will focus on helping your child reach his/her potential in all areas of development: in social and emotional development, in language and cognitive development, and in fine and gross motor development. Children will learn the best way children can-- through play, hands-on experiences, and self-guided discovery in a nurturing and encouraging environment. Furthermore, I will present activities designed to introduce children to the Spanish language and give the basic understanding of the language through songs, games, and stories.

What I Offer: I understand that choosing the right child care is one of the most important decisions a parent can make for their child. What I offer is much more than a baby-sitting service. What I offer is an extended family support system; a unique home preschool setting that caters to the needs of your child.We will work together to help each child become useful in everyday life and successful learners.

About Me: I have worked in the field of early childhood education for many years. In 2005, I received my Associate's Degree in Elementary Education began working in a licensed, accredited center in my home state of Arizona. I started in this field as a teacher assistant then later became a teacher, all while continuing my education. In 2009 I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education with a content emphasis on Second Language Education from Northern Arizona University. When I moved to South Carolina in 2010, I worked as a childcare director then later became a Spanish teacher for a private Christian academy working with preschool and elementary grade students. I have continued my professional development through teaching workshops and trainings.
