About
Hello! My name is Bethany and I am an at-home mom to a 16-month old boy. I have a degree in Biology and Art, and 5 years experience in a pediatric dental office. I am 28 years old, the oldest of 3 siblings, and the oldest of 10 cousins. I love to engage and encourage the creativity of children, and my desire is to provide family-style child care in my home for a few other kids.
We like to be active outdoors with daily dog walks, park play, and gardening. As a mom, I prefer to keep the TV off during the day and instead work on baking, art projects, music, games and books. I am also intentional about teaching appropriate behavior with animals (in addition to the dog we also have 2 bunnies and a fish). Not surprisingly, some of my son's first words were "hop hop" and "fish"!
I am available for part-time or full-time care, and willing to pick-up from and/or drop-off at your home depending on the situation.
