About
Our mission at Bethany Reformed Church is to Prepare children for school and life, while sharing God's love which we have been doing since 1984. Our preschool provides a ministry to all preschool aged children. Within a Christian atmosphere, the preschool provides hands on activities to prepare children for kindergarten, focusing on developing pre-academic and language skills. We believe that each child is created in the image of God. Therefore, it is the goal of the preschool to instill in each child a positive self-respect, respect for others, and a positive world-view.
We are located on the North side of Des Moines at 720 NE 52nd Ave, within Bethany Reformed Church.
We offer 2 preschool classes:
Preschool - Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 9:00-11:30.
This class is for children turning 3 on or before September 15. The three-year-old class offers a play-based curriculum integrated with introductory academic readiness skills as well as activities to foster social development.
Pre-Kindergarten - Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 12:30-3:00.
This class is for 4 and 5 year-olds who will be entering kindergarten the next fall. The developmentally appropriate curriculum focuses on academic and social readiness skills needed to transition into kindergarten.
