I have been a licensed child care provider in B/N for 24+ years
I'm located off of Jersey Ave, near Colene Hoose School, in Normal
My daycare is very active and we take many field trips (library, parks, zoo, etc).
I focus on kindergarten readiness. I teach sharing, manners, listening/following directions, letters, shapes, colors, numbers, patterns, opposites, rhyming, etc.
My teaching is done in a relaxed, loving atmosphere and through play, song, field trips, etc.
When the weather is nice, we are outside a lot. We might not complete crafts every day, but we continue to learn while we are out in the world exploring.
Because we are so active, I prefer children 1 yr old (or close to it) and older.
