Welcome to Best Buddies!

We believe in providing holistic care in a safe, developmentally-appropriate environment. The primary focus of Best Buddies is on the emotional, mental, physical, social and academic well-being of each child, while providing a positive and community-oriented approach to child care in the Lake Oswego area.
At Best Buddies, we realize the impact of the environment and community upon individual and group learning.

A stable, calm and safe environment generated by both staff and peers encourages enhanced one-on-one and class interactions. By feeling comfortable and confident in their environment with strong peer and teacher relationships students will be able to exhibit increased academic, social, emotional and mental health.

We focus on the inherent worth and value of each individual and we want to provide care that allows your student to grow into a responsible and empathetic member of their community. This is encouraged through both individual and cooperative play/learning adventures in an open-concept space. Most of all, we want an enjoyable and understandable preschool experience for everyone involved!

Our themes will change weekly and we will be flexible to touch on new topics as they come up. Keeping the children engaged and curious will help them thrive and grow. We enjoy many outdoor activities through all seasons. We are equipped with sandboxes, play structures, soccer goals, basketball and water tables to stimulate their sense of play. We have rain suits available for all of our students and find rainy days to be some of the kid's favorite outdoor time.
