Bernie's Daycare

I am an in-home daycare provider. I am not currently registered with the state, though I am taking the steps towards becoming registered. Though I have not been in business for long, I have many years of experience working with children. I have studied Early Childhood Development in high school along with working with preschool aged special needs children in an Education Practicum class. Also while taking the Education Practicum class, I worked with children in first, second, and fourth grades.
While still living in Pierre, I aided in running Little Steps Preschool and daycare with Misty Roberts and babysat her children multiple times.
I also have two nieces (ages 8 years and 1 year) and a nephew (age 3 years) that I helped to care for while still living in Pierre and help care for with each visit I have with my family. I have also helped care for my fiance's niece (age 6 years) several times while her mother had to work. I also have my own beautiful daughter whom was born on January 31, 2014. She has been the light of my life since the moment she was born, and soon she will get to share that light with her little brother--due August 19, 2015.
