Duck's Nest began at our Berkeley location in 1984. A hidden oasis, with three houses, bright classrooms, lush gardens, a chicken coop, outdoor art area, a castle and colorful shipwrecked boat play structure, sand boxes, swings and a bike yard.
The five cozy classrooms have built-in lofts, art and dramatic play areas, and comfortable reading corners. Duck's Nest Garden, a block away, is a daily destination for our students serves as an outdoor classroom.
Everyday, our dedicated teachers provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child. Duck's Nest has one of the best students to teacher ratios to be found in the Bay Area.
