About the business
Benjamin Tutorial Services is an in-home tutorial service. We provide assistance to boys and girls, ages 9 thru 15, with their homework in the areas of reading, writing and critical thinking. An individual learning plan is developed for each student in the areas of most need or Core Curriculum books can be utilized. The sessions are for one (1) hour each at a cost of $25 per hour per session. Sessions can also be provided in a library close to the student's home. Further information, if necessary, can be obtained by contacting the Service.

I am a retired Administrative Manager with a Master's Degree in Administrative Management who feels she has something to offer the young people of our community. During my career, I have written and presented speeches all over the United States relevant to women and non-traditional jobs for women for the U.S. Department of Labor as a Program Development Specialist. I also spent several years as a field representative with a national recruitment and training program providing non-traditional career information to women. Most of the careers recruited for at that time are now main stream for women. As a part-time job, I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at a community college in Massachusetts.
