Bemis Farms Preschool & Childcare

Bemis Farms was established in 1994 on 18 acres of farmland. The grounds are tilled, with gardens and many trees. The local farmer plants and grows a rotating crop of corn and soybeans. Each classroom has a large playground to give the children ample amounts of outside play.

Bemis Farms is proud to have earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in Washington D.C. This means we provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. In support with families and the community, we provide a program that is developmentally appropriate for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years that meets the high criteria of the NAEYC Accreditation guidelines.

The staff at Bemis Farms are dedicated and committed to the loving care of young children. With our low staff/child ratio, we can give personalized attention to each child. Our teachers and caregivers are professionally trained. They are dedicated to the philosophy of the school, which is to "provide a loving, caring environment that promotes and encourages all aspects of learning, creativity and sound character building."
