About

The field of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Mental Health is currently expanding, leading our agency to add strong assets to our team through the full-time position of Behavior Technician in our Westlake, OH center. The Behavior Technician works directly with our clients of all ages. This position is an active, hands on position supporting our children and young adults on the autism spectrum or related behavior mental health disorders. This position requires the individual to learn and implement the methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis. Daily routine of a Behavior Technician consists of working in a strong team dynamic, with the focus of improving academic, daily living, and behavioral objectives and skills through a structured clinical dynamic. The Behavior Technician will hold responsibilities such as: IEP/ISP centered programming, Behavior Support Plan implementation, client specific data collection, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention support, and agency based training programs. The Behavior Technician is an integral part of the organization. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Assistant, the Behavior Technician will follow all regulations and requirements to ensure the highest quality of treatment is provided.
Ideal candidates must be self-motivated, possess a strong professional demeanor, organized, and punctual. The BT position is a full-time position, M,T,W,Th,F 7:45am - 4:15pm(5pm on Tues). The initial pay would range from 10-14.50/hr based on your education and experience. Current Behavior Technicians have educational backgrounds in special education, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and applied behavior analysis.
