I have been going to bph for a long time for both my personal and rescue animals. It used to be so well run and the past years has gone downhill. They no longer care about the care of the animals. It's only about money. I've had receptionists yell at me for calling in on memorial day. I've had vets that have not been able to be upfront with being able to handle cats rather letting them be hurt and mishandled. I had negligence due by the vets kill animals. Even a simple neuter they didn't put a cone on and the cat was chewing on the incision. When he got sick I brought him in multiple times for them to tell me it was fine because it wasn't puking there. That healthy 2 year old cat died a horrible death. I've had them try to pressure me multiple times into euthenizing a kitten that I saved. Recently not only do they never have time to see sick or injured animals but they do not listen to concerns. I took an animal there I told the vet I suspected had kidney failure. The levels were off but they blew off my concerns. After dropping hundreds of dollars to hospitalize this cat the cat came back sicker. With uri and diarrhea that they didn't enclose to me. The cat wasn't even fully hydrated and they made some half hearted excuse. I took the cat to another vet a short 2-3 days later for him to be hospitalized and diagnosed with kidney failure. I never had even so little as an apology. If I hadn't listened to my gut they would have killed another cat.
