About
BCDC is an early learning child care center caring and teaching children ages birth - five years of age. The center utilizes Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum for its play-based curriculum and assessment tool. The center accepts full time care for three, four, or five days a week. The center is open for business Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bedford Child Development Center's philosophy is that we believe children learn best through their experiences and believe children's play is a primary vehicle for their growth and development. We believe play enables children to progress along a developmental sequence of growth. Therefore, a child-initiated, child-directed, teacher supported curriculum is an essential component of our program.
The center is currently enrolled in Michigan's Great Start to Quality program which is one way caregivers can provide high quality care to the families they serve.
