About
Becoming Me is a very small, intimate in-home daycare where children are encouraged to be themselves. As the owner, I can guarantee your family a safe, comfortable, and educational place to leave your child while you are away. Through art and adventure, I inspire children to learn and grow into whoever it is that they dream to be.
A little background about the owner: I am a 27-year-old stay-at-home mother of one child (boy, age 2.5). Prior to motherhood, I was a preschool teacher for 3 years. I am a freelance writer and I have recently finished a fictional novel that I hope to publish in the coming year. I was nearly finished with my Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Language when I fell in love with childhood education and decided to switch my degree to Psychology, specializing in childhood psychology. I am currently a student at Penn State through online studies. With my degree, I plan to make a difference in the lives of as many children who are in need of protection and guidance as I possibly can in my lifetime.
I live a life of happiness and pride through taking the best possible care of myself, my friends, and my family.
At Becoming Me Daycare, we follow a regular daily schedule to provide the children with as much stability as possible. I believe it is very important for a child to be able to depend on a daily routine. I, the owner, will provide one morning snack and parents are required to pack a daily lunch and afternoon snack.
