About
A local state registered childcare center is now seeking full time teachers to join our team of professional care providers. Teachers are responsible for operating the center in accordance with policies, procedures, and state licensing standards to provide a nurturing and safe educational environment for children, parents, and staff.
Teacher's are responsible for facilitating and nurturing a child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth and development. They are also responsible for communicating children's daily activity to the parent.
Qualified candidates must possess a strong desire to aid the developmental success of children and their environment. Positive attitude, flexibility, lots of energy, a love for young children, and the ability to get down on the floor and play are a MUST!
(Floater) Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
(Head Teacher) Qualifications would also obtain...
Child development associate (CDA) or
Certificate of Completion of the Registered Childcare Apprenticeship Program, or AA, or BA in child development or related field (which includes at least 4 courses successfully completed in child development)
Must be able to pass a background check
