I have taken care of seniors and pets for so many years that it seems that those I care for are family members. I started using my free time to care for elderly and their pets because my grandma lived so far away I needed someone to care for then... my own parents became grandparents and I started caring for them. After that I just feel lost and unsure of what to do with my time so was recommended by a friend to try care.com. She said with all my experience and caring, nurturing character I would do well withproviding the level of care I gave to my parents and family friends. I have experience in home health aid nurses aide CPR and medical terminology as well as training in phlebotomy and have an AA in psychology. That just means I have all the pre-requisites for general education because I had classes in nutrition behavioral health geology anatomy and Alzheimer's. At the moment I work at the VA in Cape Coral as a professional housekeeper. I enjoy audiobooks swimming watching movies and walking/hiking. I do light housekeeping, plant care, dog walking, grocery shopping, bill paying online or phone, taking jaunts to the doctor or hairdresser. I follow prescription protocols and instructions so help with medication reminders. Most people enjoy my cooking and I try to decorate the plate to make it look enticing.
