As a Delaware Department of Education-approved tutoring service and a K-12 Private School, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics offers 1-on-1 instruction in over 60 subjects. At Back to Basics, we apply our depth of experience, diverse skills in education, and understanding of learning styles to create the programs needed to ensure true learning success and enhanced self-esteem for the children, teens and adults of Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Since 1985, Back to Basics has served the educational needs of over 12,500 students in the tri-state region, regardless of the students' levels. We have taught students who are gifted, learning disabled, and visually or hearing impaired, as well as those with ADHD or Asperger's. Our tutors are qualified and experienced teaching professionals with Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees. They are caring, supportive people who know how to help children and adults develop confidence. Because they are carefully selected for academic credentials and for the skills and personalities needed to work with students of all ages, our tutors motivate their students to learn and inspire them to achieve. Every tutor undergoes a pre-interview, a face-to-face interview, detailed reference checks, drug testing, and criminal background checks before being considered for hire. Great care is given to matching each tutor with each student. Every tutor is hand-picked in order to achieve optimum results with each student. We offer tutoring at your home, daycare, day camp, school, or office or in one of our two locations in Delaware (Wilmington or Newark). In addition to 1-on-1 instruction, we provide translating and interpreting services in over 20 foreign languages, educational consulting with parents, psychoeducational testing, and corporate education. We also offer 1-on-1 summer school and high school credit recovery and original credit courses.
