My name is Sanida and I am the owner of BabySteps Childcare
home in Concord, North Carolina. It is conveniently located a couple of miles away from Harrisburg Town Center, Concord Mills Mall and CMC North East. The most comfortable and convenient thing about it is the fact that it is inside my home!
I love this job and take special interest in each and every child that walks trough my door. A childcare home differs from a center in a multitude of ways but my personal favorite is the family relationships.
Due to the low ratio of a childcare home, I only offer Full-Time Contracts. What that means is that once you sign a contract, those days are yours whether you choose to bring your child five days per week or three.
I love to cook, and teach kids about the importance of healthy food relationships. I also love to teach children about where does food actually come from and for that reason we have a year long project with our vegetable garden. Children as young as 3 months participate in the garden activity.
The curriculum is play based and emergent. I pay close attention to the children's interests in various subjects and respond appropriately. If they're interested in the beach, then we will spend some time exploring the subject and learning all we can about it.
