Loving, in home daycare, specializing in attachment style infant care.

I have a certificate in Child Development and am certified in CPR. I worked in a family care practice and was a patient care aide at Loyola. I also had my EMT-A certification, though I never worked on an ambulance.
I have been babysitting since my teens, have worked in a daycare setting before my own children were born, was a nanny, and have most recently been providing childcare in my home on and off for over 12 years. I love children!
Married to the love of my life for 25 years, I am a mom of 5 , ages 16-23( including a set of triplets). All of my children were homeschooled until high school. My oldest just finished his Master's degree at Northwestern University. My triplets and youngest are all A students in HS.
I do not use a formal curriculum. We live in the world and it is our best classroom! I believe children need the chance to explore, experience and get dirty! We visit local nature centers, libraries, parks, the pool, the zoo and museums regularly. We even find a way to have fun if we go to the grocery store! There are so many opportunities to learn, everywhere you go!
Our day always include storytime, music and movement and outdoor play (weather permitting). We have a large fenced with a play structure, sandbox and garden. We have one, very mellow dog.

I provide fresh, homemade, organic (whenever possible) meals. I am very knowledgeable about breastfeeding, introducing solids, and willing to accommodate food allergies/sensitivities. I am also cloth diaper friendly.

I am not licensed and have no plans to pursue licensing.
