ExSeptional Ones Academy
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm serving children ages 6 weeks to 13 years. Children are provided breakfast, lunch and snack daily, and have a rest time each afternoon. Classrooms are created by age and developmental level. Our center-wide curriculum is Creative/Montessori where children engage in play and active participatory learning supported by the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines. Our curriculum covers all developmental domains, including language/literacy, cognitive development, physical development, social-emotional development, and creative arts.

About the Owner/Director
My Name is Keana SeptMatthews, I am honored and blessed to be the Owner/ Director at B & K’S ExSeptional Ones Academy. I would first like to say I am so excited to be a part of your child’s educational foundation. I am honored to serve during a time when children are so influential. I have been providing services in Early Childhood for 20+ years. It is my goal to provide you and your family with the most enriched learning experience I can.
Education- I am currently working on my B.A in behavioral science, I have an Associates in Early Childhood Development. I am CPR and first aid certified, SIDS, shaken baby, child-abuse and neglect, intro to childcare professions, fundamentals of infant and toddler care, skills and strategies, fundamentals of family care to name a few. I have a many other trainings and course work in the field. I am a lifelong learner!
My hobbies include but are not limited to spending time with my husband, Mr. B and my Son, Mario, and my daughter, Mykiah. My husband is the most wonderful man on this side of heaven. He is my biggest supporter. My husband and I are from the windy city of Chicago, IL by way of Madison, Wisconsin. In May of 2009 we moved to Omaha to continue our ministry.
