About

Autumn For All Seasons Child Care maintains a loving, happy, educational, safe, nurturing and secure environment for children. I strive to enrich each child with a love of learning, a positive self-image, and a sense of creativity. My goal is to instill a love of learning so that each child may develop basic learning skills such as curiosity and inquisitiveness, in which they can carry with them throughout their educational careers.
I, Autumn Avery, am a 33 year old single mother of 2 daughters, ages 4 and 7, and legal guardian of 2 siblings, now ages 17 and 19. I also have an adopted 14 year old son in which he visits throughout the year. I have been doing licensed in home childcare now for almost 15 years now, ever since I turned 19 years old. I started in New York and eventually made my way back to my home state of Colorado, where I was a training as a lead teacher in Castle Rock in 2010. After realizing just how much my strong morals impact not only myself but the daily lives of everyone else, I knew I wanted to get back into home care so that I may continue my beliefs and thought process of effective teaching in way that can benefit children most through my eyes not only as a teacher, but as a previous foster parent, a guardian, a mother and a positive role model.
My love for art goes far beyond arts and crafts in the childcare setting. I design special pieces of art for others; I paint murals; I love carving portrait pumpkins; I carve edible pieces; host face painting parties; design elegant diaper cakes; and I cut hair. As a member of my family is completely deaf, I do speak basic sign language and I incorporate basic Spanish into my daily activities.
