On the recommendation of my wife's co-worker, we made an appointment for October 2 for our dog Belle to get groomed. I am so glad that we did. The groomer's name is Gary, and he was so great with the Belle. We have tried several groomers in the area and she had disliked all of them, especially PetSmart. He asks all about the dog: The type of dog, the quirks and idiosyncrasies, last time the dog was groomed, etc. He treats the dog like it is his dog he's grooming. He plays with them, hugs, them, sings to them, and gets to know them and he sees their personalities. The price is extremely reasonable. It is payable by cash or check (no credit cards). When I picked Belle up, her attitude wasn't "Quick, get me the hell OUTTA here" like at other groomers (again: especially PetSmart), it was "Aww, can't I stay and play some more? I like him!". We will definitely be taking her there again, and I can say for certain that I think we have finally found a permanent groomer (I wished we had of known about him sooner).
