About the business
We, Dave and Karthia, are a middle-aged husband and wife team. Karthia began pet-sitting in California in the mid-80's before it became popular. Upon moving to Grand Junction in 2002, we noticed that a lot of people had numerous pets. This seemed like a good location to continue the business we love so much. We started our company, At Home Pet Care, in May of 2003 and have grown steadily since.
We have recently added spacious backyard boarding to our repertoire. This is perfect for people who are unable to use a pet sitter but don't want to put their precious pets in an overcrowded noisy kennel. Unlike normal kennels, we have very flexible hours, negotiate rates for long-term stays and offer a half acre of play area for your dog's recreation. We have many clients to give you personal references. We are insured members of Pet Sitters International. We charge between $12. 00 - $24. 00 for various services.
