**UPDATE-I have an opening June 1st as the little boy I am watching is moving to DC. I will continue to keep the ratio low and am so sad to see him go. I'm looking to start an in home daycare/preschool for up to 3 little ones (ages 1 and up). I have years of experience as a professional nanny and have recently decided to do this from home because my youngest kept getting sick from the amount of germs at her last daycare. I want to offer a fun/clean environment with field trips, sensory/crafts and a fun place to play. I am NOT looking to run a big daycare, just a few kids to do fun things with and provide more attention all while keeping the germs at bay.
I have great references and a perfect background (driving record included). I grew up being the neighborhood babysitter, nannied in college (and a little after). I was a stay at home mom for years until recently when I decided to go back to being a nanny and put my youngest in a home daycare/preschool. She kept getting sick forcing me to call into work constantly. I wish I could have had something like this, but it will work out in the end. I'm continuing to night nanny on occasion for the family since I could not part with them 100%.
Your kids will always be apart of my family. I love watching the kids I used to nanny for grow up. The last family I was with (for 3 years before I had my first child) has sent half of their kids off to Ivy League colleges (they were twins) and still visit a few times a year. The first little boy I ever babysat is now a doctor in Iowa. I could go on about all of my past families. :)
