ASTRO Academy, an afterschool program with a holistic approach to wellness and education.

ASTRO gives kids ages 5 to 13 fully equitable access to best-practices academic mentoring and fun, athletic, creativity-focused, and STEM activities beyond their formal school day and traditional school year. ASTRO’s mission is to continuously innovate - and to nationally standardize - its groundbreaking multilingual holistic WELLNESS and skills development models that give CHILDREN an unprecedented ability to champion their own goals, interests, and well-being within any socioeconomic status.

Our dedicated team of child care professionals is led by Co-Founders Michael Kroian and Justin Pasquazzi who have been serving the community for over 9 years! Our program is offered Monday - Friday during the school year from 1 - 7pm, and during the summer from 9am - 3pm. Activities include tutoring, arts and sports structured activities, recreational time, and field trips. Snacks and meals are provided daily. The program offers an innovative design for addressing social determinants of health by educating children on how to define and achieve personal health goals. During the admission process, participants set goals that are reviewed and revised every three months.
