Ashley's House

I am a certified teacher who resigned from a middle school teaching position to care for my daughter in 2012. After becoming a stay-at-home-mom, I decided to use my teaching skills and previous daycare experience to become an in-home childcare provider. I am looking to watch one more toddler full-time. I enjoy planning fun and educational activities, like reading, games, and art. A love of learning starts at a young age. I operate like a daycare center, in the fact that I follow a daily routine, provide healthy meals and snacks, and use a notebook to daily communicate with families. I feel that being active is also an important part of childhood. When the weather permits, we go outside to play, or create games inside when it's cold. I have a dedicated classroom in my home, a basement play area, an outdoor playset, and plenty of bedrooms for sleeping areas.
