Ashley's Childcare

Hi! I am looking to start an in-home daycare that I am trying to get a feel for how many people would be interested! I have been a caregiver for many, many years. I started when I was very young at around 12 years old where I cared for my nieces and nephews when they were first born. I have taken care of them here and there from that time forward. I also began working part time in Gold's Gym childcare while in high school. After graduating high school, I went to Missouri State University where I was the site leader of a particular site for the YMCA childcare. This is where I was the leader of 50-60 children of all ages and 4-5 staff members. I worked here throughout my college years (4.5 years). After college, I moved back home to St. Louis where I began to nanny and care for children until I found a long term job in the field that I had studied at school. It turns out I actually really LOVE taking care of children and it is my passion. I do currently work full time in a position other than childcare but would LOVE if I can start this little business of being able to have an in-home childcare. I am looking to quit my full-time job to begin this next journey for doing something I enjoy and something that I can eventually enjoy my kids at too! I am a very laid back 25 year old, who loves everything about children and making them laugh and learn all at the same time. I am very playful, fun, crafty, and love to read books with the children. I also have my CPR and first aid certification! At this time, I do not have a price or hours in mind - I actually wanted to get a feel for how many people would be interested in me and what their needs/wants are!
