At Arts Smarts & Happy Hearts, children experience nurturing guidance, purposeful play, and educational programs in a safe, happy, stimulating, and family-oriented environment.
With a small child to teacher ratio combined with our specialized curriculum designed with each child's needs and development in mind, parents can have comfort in knowing their child is receiving more individualized attention as well as essential socialization to help him or her thrive - the best of both worlds. Children at Arts Smarts & Happy Hearts engage in both teacher directed and child initiated programs designed to enhance learning and skills in the following areas of development: social-emotional, physical and motor, language and literacy, math and reasoning, science, social studies, creative arts, and second language.
Another positive attribute of our small group dynamic that sets us apart is the flexibility for fun and learning to take place both inside and outside of the home on a regular basis. Some of our favorite places to visit are the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Conner Prairie, Indianapolis Zoo, parks, nature centers, and libraries for story time and special programming. We offer an array of rich resources for fun and learning within the home through our specialized curriculum in addition to books, games, arts and crafts, musical instruments, building blocks, play equipment, and toys. We also bring in a professional music teacher to provide the children monthly music classes.
