About
We are a unique arts and nature-based Reggio-inspired family childcare program in Southwest Petaluma. Our teaching team work with 12-14 children per time slot, ages 2.9-5 yrs old. We are currently looking for a part-time assistant teacher/support staff person to start immediately from 2:30 (M,W) and 3:30 (T,Th) - 5:00.
Candidates we are seeking are highly reliable, organized, have a gentle and magical approach and able to manage groups of children. Responsibilities include: general clean-up, organizing and closing tasks, interacting with the children, supporting teachers in projects.
Requirements: CPR/First Aid certified, fingerprints filed with child care licensing and current cleared TB test, proof of immunizations. Prefer candidates who have had basic coursework in early childhood education or related field and experience with groups of children.
Please note we are a scent-free environment so perfumes are not to be worn at the school because of allergies. We are located in a country setting surrounded by animals. Candidates should be comfortable in a large outdoor nature-based setting.
