I have been in pet care for 30+ years. Starting 1977 as a vet tech. In 1992 we opened Arctic Ridge Kennels, "your pets home away from home." 24 hour care, Large inside rooms and large shaded outside runs. NO CAGES! We board, groom and train pets while they are vacationing with us. Your pet (dog) will have plenty of outside play time and special care for pets with special needs - no problem and no extra fees. Cats are boarded completely separately from the dogs! (cats are upstairs and the dogs are downstairs) Our fees for boarding are very family friendly, from $11. 00 - 15. 00 per day, not per hour! Our kennels and re are owned and operated by the Care family, treating your pet as part of our family! We are one exit from Rocky Gap Resort, Rocky Gap State Park and also Green Ridge State Forest. We are also the home of The Ark of Hope Animal Rescue, a true no~kill rescue. We take in animals that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. They receive vet care, spay/neuter, etc and when ready they are adopted.
