About
ARCh Camp Pow Wow is a camp just for children and adults with disabilities. We provide both day camp and residential camp. During day camp, the camper to staff ratio is 3:1, and it runs M-F 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Campers are also expected to bring their own lunch each day, and busing can be provided. During residential camp, the camper to staff ratio is 2:1, and if runs M-TH 9:00 am-5:00 pm on Thursday. All meals are provided., and busing is not available for this camp.
Each session, we spend time doing different activities such as arts and crafts, nature activities, gardening, life skills, recreation and fitness activities, and music activities. We also go swimming each week at the Menomonee Park beach. Here, we have our own separate beach area, guarding by 2-3 Camp Pow Wow lifeguards.
In addition, we have a nurse on duty from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm daily, and have many CNA's and nursing students on staff as well.
We do not turn any camper away due to disability or financial circumstances.
