April's Child Care

I am a stay at home mom of an 8 year old son. He is out of school for the summer and I am looking to keep 1 or 2 kids preferably between the ages of 6-10 for the summer and possibly before and after school once it starts back up. I do currently work part time, a few hours a week, at my church in the nursery. I have been back ground checked and did have CPR/First Aid certification. It has expired, but I will be renewing it within the next couple of months. We have a new kitten at home, our only pet, so I'm looking for kids with no cat allergies. Hours I am available are 6:30 am - 6:00 pm.

I also want to make sure that my son doesn't forget everything that he learned last year in school, so I am spending about 20-30 minutes a day on a bridge activity book, it links 3rd to 4th grade and I have him reading 20 minutes a day and practicing handwriting. I would love to be able to do these same things with your kids, whatever ages they are to help keep their brains sharp. :o)

I also do plan on a few field trips with the kids, the library, water parks, the zoo, playgrounds, possibly museums and whatever other fun things we can think of. We enjoy science projects, so we plan on getting a little dirty every now and then. :o)

I am not registered with the state, but I do have a lot of experience with kids and would love the opportunity to take care of your child. Please pray about your decision and if this is where God sends you, I promise to love them as my own.
