I run a home day care facility that emphasis on academics through play. Having a bachelor s degree in Education, a son of my own, and 8 years of lead teacher experience I have decided to open my own day care. As the Director my goal is to I teach, operate, and create lesson plans to help the children grow.
Together with my assistant we ensure children are learning and not just kept busy as other home day cares. We do not show television (except on special days) or if it is part of the lesson plan.
We are also fortunate to have a large backyard that allows the children to run around on the grass and stretch their legs. The home is fully licensed and inspected by the fire department.
There is a weekly tuition and I accept all subsidy programs from the resource and referral agencies. We are open year round from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday Friday.
