Hello,
I am looking to take on 1 child, infant, perferably. But I will take a toddler too!! I have 4 children, so i OBVIOUSLY love kids. I have a 10year old boy, 9year old girl (they are 11 months apart) and then i have a 3 and a half year old girl and a 2 year old baby boy. (They are 18 months apart.) I was a stay at home mom from the time my first 2 were born, until they were 2 and 3. Then I went back into the workforce for 2 years. I realized that I wanted to stay home to raise my babies. Shortly after that I had 2 more babies, which really sealed the deal that I was going to stay home. I live with my mom, who is an ER nurse, she is home on Monday and Wednesdays (just wanted to add this for a little more extra comfort.) I know when I decided to go back to work, it was really hard for me to let my babies go with someone other than me. And my fiance who works full time. We live in a single family home in Ellicott City. My 2 older kids go to school full time as well!
I have been a nanny since before I had children. I have taken care of kids, other than my own, from infant to early elementary. I LOVE KIDS! My favorite thing is to watch them grow and to watch them learn new things!!! I have taught my kids sign language as they have grown. I believe that it is one of the best things you can do for an infant/toddler/any age! There is research beyond research of the benefits of teaching sign to an infant starting at 6 months. And i just LOVE to watch them be able to connect the sign to the object or be able to connect the sign to what they need!! I also LOVE to take pictures/videos of almost EVERY cute thing they do!!!!!! So I would most definitely upload those for you! I also like to share the cute things they say and do with you, as their parent!!!
I REALLY want to be able to stay home with my kids and be able to take care and help raise another little baby too!!!
