My 83 year old mother bought a manufactured home in the Willows. She and her children all decided to pay for a deep cleaning because we are either disabled or working full time. The painter, that my brother got for free, came early. We also planned carpet installation. She came and gave us a bid of up to $500 to deep clean the house the day before the painting. On the day she and one worker came to clean, we informed her to not clean the walls or the floors in the great room, or bedrooms because the flooring was all going to be replaced and the walls painted, with the exception of the bathrooms. She now had less work to do. My mom was the one who paid her and did not check her work. She is of the generation who trusts a person's word. Amazing how filthy this house still is. A stove knob was also missing. I had to look at pictures I took the day before to see if it was there at all and it was. My daughter called Annie the following day about how dirty the house still is and see if she has the stove knob. She did have it. Apparently it got into their cleaning supplies. She said she had to use all her cleaning stuff and this was the dirtiest house she's ever seen. She gave my mother $100 back. Unbelievable, it's a move in clean and it was dirty. That's why mom paid for a deep clean. We have been working for days trying to clean this house. We can't figure out what they actually cleaned. Everywhere we look there is not only grime, but also loose dirt, visible cobwebs, brown mineral build up in the master toilet, and pieces of solid matter in the cabinets. I specifically told her we wanted the blinds and inside windows clean. None were cleaned. There was visible dirt on the windows, insect waste, dirt, and other debris on all the blinds. There isn't one spot in this house that we can tell was cleaned. So if you want to pay $400 for a deep clean that you have to clean yourself, then this is the scam for you. Shame on her for taking advantage of an old arthritic woman. I have pictures I'd love to attach of a house that cost $400 to deep clean, but is just as dirty as it was before they "cleaned."Thanks for nothing.
