Please read this review: We had been taking our pet to Animal Medical Center of Richardson (AMCR) for several years. In late Feb. of 2017 our Kitty started not eating much and really acting like she didn't feel well so we took her to AMCR for diagnosis and treatment. The Dr. diagnosed her and admitted her with Pancreatitis for a "couple" days. We were told after two nights we could pick her up; which we did on Wed. 3/1/17. (Note: We were unaware that somehow, she had managed to fracture her back foot while at the Vet's office) On 3/3/17 we took her back to the Vet as her condition had only worsened. She would not eat or drink. We also communicated that she was walking "funny" and to check that out as well.

On 3/8/17 we were told to come get our Kitty and we would have medication to bring home to administer. As the Vet's office was preparing her for discharge, they then realized that her back foot was terribly swollen which an xray confirmed; was actually fractured in two places. We were told to isolate her for four weeks to prevent her from movement and that she had Pancreatitis and was given medication to administer at home.

On 3/10/17 our Kitty was so desperately ill; we took her to a different Vet all together for the third time. At this time our Kitty was so weak from lack of eating and drinking that the new Vet immediately said, "this cat doesn't have Pancreatitis".... After a medical workup with xrays, etc. it was found she had a tumor - most likely cancer. She was too sick to even begin to have surgery. On 3/13/17 Sasha was at peace. After over $1600.00 Vet bill and missing out on the last few days of her life - or maybe even the possibility of saving her life - I would NOT recommend anyone take their beloved pet to this Veterinarian's Practice.
