If you're a dog owner, skip this review. This office very clearly prioritizes their canine clients and pet owners. If you're a cat owner, however, do NOT go to this vet. To begin, we wait an hour after our appointment time to be seen. In the meantime, they took EVERY SINGLE DOG that was in the waiting room - including MULTIPLE dogs that arrived after us. Throughout this time, not a single person acknowledged us or explained the wait. In fact, the ONLY reason we were finally seen was because I complained to the desk. Unfortunately, we were brought in ahead of a gentleman with a cat who was there before us and, as far as I know, is still waiting in the office today.

Once the appointment FINALLY started, it went swiftly downhill. The vet tech was TERRIFIED of cats. In fact, I heard him loudly complain to his co-workers about how much he hated them. He could/would not handle her. I got her out of the carrier and the vet was able to examine her, including listening to her heart and petting her. Despite the fact that I told them my cat was stressed and would not tolerate being handled more than necessary, they had us wait another 20 minutes for a quote. The vet tech then tried to muzzle my cat, who had bit NO ONE during the appointment. This further agitated her. He then tried - and failed - to handle. Another person was then called in to handle her, at which point my cat FREAKED and peed due to the terror. That tech then rudely told my daughter, "Cats do that when they're mad." Uh, no, I'm pretty sure my cat is just stressed and overwhelmed. After TWO HOURS of being at the clinic, we were then told that they wouldn't be able to do anything today because my cat was agitated. I WONDER WHY! The vet then suggested I bring my cat back the next day - a SATURDAY - to be sedated and examined. When I tearfully explained that I would be unable to get my cat back in her carrier again, she suggested my cat stay in her URINE-SOAKED carrier OVERNIGHT. What kind of person - let alone a vet - suggests containing a cat in a small space for over 12 hours IN HER OWN FILTH?

Following this appointment, I called and spoke to the office manager and explained my horrible experience. This was after calling MULTIPLE other vets to try and get an appointment. Unfortunately, due to needing to be sedated, other clinics were not able to see her. So, back to Animal Clinic I reluctantly went. After a LENGTHY phone call in which I explained all of the above, the office manager scheduled me with a different vet and tech for a Saturday. This call took place on a Monday. It is now Thursday when they call me and try to reschedule the appointment for a Monday. They begin by telling me they don't sedate pets on a Saturday. Wait, wait ... so you're telling me both the Office Manager AND one of your vets is IGNORANT to your policies? When I pointed out the concerning fact that two senior-level workers were uninformed of office policies, their story quickly changed. Oh, ACTUALLY, the owner wants to see you, but he doesn't work on Saturday and he's also not here. Now I'm confused because WHEN did the owner make this request? Certainly not today, a day he does not work? So why wait until LESS THAN 48 HOURS from my scheduled appointment to inform me of this? By this point, I am upset because this has been going on for nearly a week and this office has done nothing but exhibit pure INCOMPETENCE. I tell them as much as this is when they REALLY proved that they don't give an f about cats because they tell me "Well, it sounds like we're not a good fit and you can go elsewhere." Animal Clinic obviously does not care about cats because they're fine with traumatizing and KILLING mine. I am so incredibly disgusted by the abhorrent behavior of literally EVERY PERSON in that office. Not a single person showed an ounce of compassion or understanding. STAY AWAY.
