I have been caring for children for over 20 years. I have four children of my own. I have completed a teacher's certification in Early Childhood Education and nursing assistant certification. My most recent professional childcare experience was in La Crosse, WI. I also have previous work experience in an adult day care, which I believe is helpful in my care of children. I meet and/or exceed the county's yearly continuing education requirements. I have passed a criminal background check, bi-annual SUIDS and Abusive Head Trauma classes, as well as CPR and first aid training. My professional goals include building loyalty with my parents, earning a 4 star rating from Parent Aware, earning accreditation from the NAFCC and offering a preschool program. These goals will hold me to a higher standard for quality childcare and ensure that your child has the highest quality care available.
I offer full time, part time and drop in childcare, Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-1:59PM.
My fees are slightly higher than many providers in Winona County. This is because of my flexibility with my hours of operation which will improve your life and make going to work easier. It is because of my experience, quality of food, and small group size that offers a sense of safety and security for your child. I use a curriculum sponsored by the National Accreditation for Family Child Care (NAFCC) named Gee Whiz, introduce Spanish to your child and emphasize reading and physical activity. This will provide an educational and health benefit that will remain with them for years to come. I am committed to my education which will benefit your child with the highest level of care. My rates are slightly higher because I am in the process of earning the four star parent aware rating, and national accreditation. This rating and accreditation shows my commitment to exceptional quality childcare. These goals and accomplishments take a lot of time, effort, and quality.
