I am currently a parent of a 2 and 4 year old. My 2 year old was born with Glutamic Academia, so it is recommended that she stay in a home care environment until the age of 6 since she has to be on a specialized diet. I have worked in a daycare enviroment. I strive to provide a structured environment to keep the kids on a schedule with a planned curriculum. I provide more one on one time than a daycare would be able to. I provide all my children a well rounded learning environment. I use a curriculum from a website called Timberdoodle.com, Reggio Emilia approach and I build an individualized learning path for each child that I watch providing a homeschool environment. I also try to understand each child's needs and develop a routine and curriculum works for their individual each stage of their development if they have any special situations. My 4yr old is starting to learn phonics at the moment and my 2yr old is learning how to formulate words into sentences. Children under 1yr old are allowed to have blankets unlike in a daycare environment. I work with the toddler age children on their potty training needs. I provide daily exercise and time in nature as well.

My 2 and 4 year old need lots of playtime. I enjoy being around children and watching them learn and grow through creative experiences. I love working with them to developing their independence through mastering cognitive, physical and social milestones on a daily basis.

I haven't always been a stay at home mom. I hold a top-secret clearance and have my degree in Business Administration. I have experience in teaching in a Waldorf School. My life has always had children around me at all times. I have worked for nutritionists and understand a variety of diets that children may need. I strive to have my house as clean and allergy free as possible. I also try to live as environmentally friendly and as sustainable as possible, with my cleaning products and have a water filtration system on the house.
