Hi, my name is Peg and I own and operate Angel Haven In-Home Christian Preschool and Daycare from my South Shores Decatur home. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching for 29 years. I am licensed for children 6 weeks to 12 years, and recently incorporated a separate infant center. While I have a Decatur address, I live in the Mt. Zion school district approximately six minutes from McGaughy School. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1984, with a specialization in Infant and Toddler Development, and have been professionally employed in the child care field for 29 years. I also participate in the Day Care Resources Food and Nutrition program. We have a great daily schedule filled with fun learning activities for all ages that focus on cognitive, language, fine and gross motor skills and much, much more! Individualized developmental activity plans are implemented daily for each infant and toddler enrolled as well. Our exceptional center has 3,000 sq. ft. of licensed space, a huge 1,500 sq. ft. outdoor fenced playground (which we use as often as possible), within a half-acre back yard, and a separate studio available for large motor activity in inclement weather. I take tours on Sunday afternoons by appointment and would be happy to mail or fax more information if you would like. Tuition is a flat rate depending on the age of your child and is due each Monday morning. You may custom design your schedule as it best suits the needs of your family within the range of our business hours of 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
