Anchors Academy & Child Development

We are conveniently off I-45 near Sawdust. We are open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Hours can be altered to accommodate each individual child's needs. Hourly rate for weekly childcare on a month to month basis is $10.00 p/h. Hourly rate for drop-in childcare is $15.00 p/h. Ages include newborn - 5 years. Our accommodations include multiple play gyms outdoors. We are staffed with 3 adult women to ensure each child's adequate care is top priority. We occasionally go on outings within a 5-mile radius, such as Pump it Up and the Sawdust Park. We offer safe transportation for our children to and from parent scheduled events.

We are equipped with a nursery / toddler room dedicated for babies and toddlers. This room has a TV, baby beds, many interactive toys and kinder-mats that are sanitized daily. We are also equipped with a separate play room / class room where we offer such programs as ABC Mouse, My Baby Can Read, Hooked on Phonics, Speak-a-boo and other curriculum. We tailor each child's nutritional needs according to the parents' wishes (weekly menu online). Each child is assigned a cubical for parents to leave extra clothes, diapers, wipes and accessories. Our staff is CPR certified and all are college educated.
