Anacortes Chinese School is a Mandarin Chinese language school in downtown Anacortes. We offer small-group classes and individualized tutoring to learners of all ages and levels. Our courses are specially designed to meet the needs of students at different ages, levels, and goals. All of our classes and tutoring sessions are led by Lina S., a native Chinese speaker from Kunming, China. Lina is an experienced Chinese teacher and holds senior-level professional certification in teaching Chinese to Foreign Learners. She has taught Chinese to a range of learners from beginning to advanced. Lina's undergraduate degree is in English from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, where she also achieved advanced certification in Putonghua (standard Mandarin Chinese) pronunciation, accuracy, and expression.

Learning Chinese at ACS has been a terrific experience! Teacher Lina is a native Chinese teacher who focuses on developing a student's learning plan according to their pace. In two months, I am already reading and writing in Chinese characters! Small groups or individual classes create a safe and open learning environment for all ages.
